Target Drilling
 This
phase costs approximately 175,000Rs for one spot drilling. This means,
contractor gets the area drilled to find the availability, depth and quality
of the coal. Generally, contractors go for two spots. This helps in analyzing
the direction of the coal seam and reduces the chances of any surprises. Once
the drilling finds the coal, it goes for quality check. This determines the
expected sale price of the coal buried under ground. |
